Achieved A*s in Physics, Chemistry and Maths and progressed to the University of York to study Physics.

 

Alfie said: “I’m really pleased with my results. I am planning on going to the University of York to study Physics. I found all my courses interesting and the tutors and staff are great and have always been supportive.”

Richard Keys

After A Levels in Classical Civilisation, Psychology and Law, Richard went on to the University of Leeds to study Computing. He then worked at a digital marketing agency for three years before moving back to Barnsley to start his own design agency business, Genius Division, with two of his friends.

 

Richard said: “I’d definitely recommend studying at Barnsley Sixth Form College. The facilites available are second to none and the college has a lot to offer students, no matter what kind of course or subject they’re interested in pursuing.”

Achieved As in Film Studies, History and Sociology and progressed to the University of Oxford to study Classical Archaeology and Ancient History.

Oliver Dyson

After A Levels in Drama and Theatre Studies, English Language and English Literature, Oliver studied English and Journalism at the University of Lincoln. He is now a Senior Social Account Executive.

 

Oliver said: “I think the increased independence of Sixth Form helped prepare me for the step up to university, where independent living joined the study element. The tutors deserve a big shout out for motivating us.”
